Ask the expert: How can planners increase the sustainability of their events?

Sustainable meetings in Stuttgart

Our Director Karina Grützner did a Q&A sharing advice on how planners can increase the sustainability of their events:
💡 First of all: Do not hesitate. Start small and improve – this is better than ignoring the need for change of habits.
🔭Look at ways to minimize the environmental impact of your meeting. Crucial topics to focus on include logistics, the meeting venue and food and beverages. Choose a venue with good public transportation access.
🏟 Choose venues and service providers who have appropriate certifications, programs and experience. The convention bureaus are terrific resources because we have experience working with vendors on a citywide level.
